Is Terra Nova Cancelled Yet?

Is Terra Nova Cancelled yet? Well the jury is out on the shows upcoming fate. It appears that there is some doubt surrounding whether or not the show should be cancelled after only a tiny 13 episode run.

Sure this exceptionally expensive TV Mega Show costs millions to produce, but the ratings have been dismal in comparison to the other drama shows of it’s kind. Sure it’s family friendly, and has a host of special effects dinosaurs ranging from docile to downright vicious.

But people just don’t watch it.

At least they don’t watch it enough.

It seems like shows with huge budgets, and crazy special effects are not going to stick like producers thought they we’re. In order for a show like Terra Nova to be profitable for all the players, it would need to be consistently the most popular show in a prime time slot for the ad dollars to cover the costs.

But the math just doesn’t add up.

    • It is indeed a pretty good show… But that really doesn’t mean that it will be kept on the roster. In TV Land, profits = longevity. Not how ‘Good’ a show is.
